Background

 As a life long seeker of new activities, I took a series of Pilates classes and was pleasantly surprised at just how well it worked. The mother of 3 children, I became a Pilates instructor and strength trainer after many years as a business professional in the corporate world. I understand very well the dilemma many professionals and parents face while attempting to balance family, work, and time for oneself to focus on health and well being.

I opened Form Body Studio in 2007 with the intention of creating a community oriented Pilates and strength training studio. I want every single person who walked through my door to feel welcome and supported, whether they are already fit or are new to exercise. I actively support or sponsor events that benefit the community at large.

The focus at Form Body Studio is on helping clients develop deep core strength and flexibility for optimum function in daily activities. Combined with an emphasis on attention to proper alignment, the results provide clients with an overall strong foundation for any activity from getting out of bed to training for an athletic competition. As a fully equipped Pilates studio, Form Body Studio offers mat classes, group reformer classes, group strength classes, and private sessions.

In July 2010, Form Body Studio moved in with Synergy Physical Therapy and Pilates, and we all work together to ensure our clients have access to the best programs for their individual needs. Our mat and cardio-pilates class schedule have been combined with Synergy's which include spring board and back safe classes.

I am a fully certified Pilates instructor through Mind Body Connection and an ACE certified personal trainer.
